This graphite drawing called, "Sacrifice," was done by Brian Swanson, Emilie Swanson's younger brother in 2023.
Brian loved how his previous Bald Eagle drawing turned out and was inspired to create another picture honoring our American veterans. In this picture, Brian portrays a soldier facing the American flag for which many have given their lives throughout history. Brian includes the inscription, "All Gave Some, Some Gave All," to remind us that freedom always comes at a cost. The next time you see a veteran, I encourage you to thank them for their service and sacrifice for our country.
